Dr. Z. Wang received his Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Toledo in 2005, Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona in 2008, and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona in 2011. He was promoted to a visiting Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Texas A&M University-Kingsville due to his outstanding multi-disciplinary research in artificial intelligence, biomedical imaging, optics and nanoparticles. He is a Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and Member of Biotech Committee at Texas A&M University - Kingsville. Wang has authored and co-authored 16 peer reviewed journal articles and 11 conference papers. He reviewed more than 40 journal articles. During 1.5-year services in TAMUK, he taught more than 1000 graduate students, and trained 2 master students to conduct leading edge research.
